Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
- Protect people, vehicles, property, plants, windows, and all non-masonry surfaces from product, splash, residue, fumes, and wind drift. Divert or protect foot and vehicle traffic.
- Ensure fresh air entry and cross ventilation during application and drying. Extinguish all flames, pilot lights, and other potential ignition sources during use and until all vapors have dissipated.
- Confirm concrete surfaces are clean and structurally sound.
- For new concrete, wait at least 3 hours after final finishing and until all surface water is gone before applying.
- For existing concrete, ensure the surface is clean and dry. Remove all foreign materials including bond breakers, curing agents, surface grease and oil, and construction debris. Use an appropriate PROSOCO surface prep cleaner.
- Do not apply at temperatures below 40°F (4°C).
Equipment Setup
- Recommended application method is high volume, low-pressure spray (less than 50 psi). Fit spray equipment with neoprene fittings.
- Use fan spray tips to avoid atomization of the material.
- For small-scale applications or when spray is not appropriate, product may be applied by brush or roller.
