Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
- Protect all people, vehicles, property, plants, and surfaces not intended for treatment from product, splash, and wind drift using polyethylene or other proven protective material.
- Do not apply to surfaces with standing water.
- For best results, apply DensiKure after finishing and before cutting control joints. If joints have already been cut, remove dust and debris from the surface and joints before application.
- Confirm that the concrete surface is clean, free of standing water, and absorbent before proceeding.
- Verify that surface and air temperatures are between 40–100°F (4–38°C). Do not install if rain is forecast during the installation window.
Determine Target Coverage Rate
- Always test a small, representative area of the surface before beginning full application. Use the same equipment, surface preparation, and application procedures planned for the overall project.
- Add 1 gallon of DensiKure to a clean pump-up sprayer fitted with a 0.5 gpm fan spray tip (or other approved spray equipment).
- Coat the concrete surface thinly and evenly with no puddling. A soft bristle broom or microfiber pad may be used to spread the product. Stop spreading once drying begins.
