DailyKleen Concentrated Concrete Floor Maintenance Cleaner — EPA Safer Choice, Zero VOC
Consolideck® DailyKlean is a fragrance-free, concentrated daily maintenance cleaner engineered specifically for concrete floors. It is designed to remove most common soiling deposits and is ideal for high-traffic commercial and industrial environments including warehouses, manufacturing plants, schools, hospitals, stores, and restaurants. The product is particularly well-suited for use with automatic scrubbers, making it a practical choice for facilities maintenance crews managing large floor areas.
Unlike conventional cleaning formulations, DailyKlean contains no phosphates, hazardous solvents, or environmentally harmful surfactants, and carries EPA Safer Choice recognition—indicating it is formulated to be safer for workers and the environment. Its flexible dilution rates and zero-VOC content make it compatible with sites that have strict indoor air quality or environmental compliance requirements.

Key Features & Benefits
EPA Safer Choice Recognized
DailyKlean is recognized by the EPA's Safer Choice program, meaning it has been evaluated for safer chemical ingredients for both workers and the environment. For contractors working on school, hospital, or food-adjacent projects where chemical safety documentation may be required, this certification provides a verifiable compliance reference.
Zero VOC Content
With a VOC content of zero, DailyKlean is compliant with all national, state, district, consumer, and institutional product VOC regulations. This makes it appropriate for use in enclosed or sensitive indoor environments without additional ventilation concerns under normal use conditions.
No Phosphates, Hazardous Solvents, or Harmful Surfactants
The formulation contains no phosphates, hazardous solvents, or environmentally harmful surfactants. It is also fragrance-free, dye-free, readily biodegradable, and low toxicity—reducing exposure risk for workers applying it regularly in occupied facilities.
Flexible Dilution for Normal and Deep Cleaning
DailyKlean is concentrated and supports two dilution levels: 1 oz per gallon of fresh water for normal daily cleaning, and 2 oz per gallon for deep cleaning. This flexibility allows the same product to handle both routine maintenance and periodic heavy-duty cleaning without stocking multiple SKUs.
No Rinsing Required for Routine Surface Cleaning
After routine surface cleaning, rinsing the concrete floor is not necessary—spent cleaner and dissolved contaminants can simply be mopped up or vacuumed with an auto scrubber. This reduces labor time and water usage on standard maintenance passes.
Ideal for Auto Scrubbers
DailyKlean is specifically noted as ideal for auto scrubbers with soft brushes or pads, making it well-suited for large-area floor maintenance common in commercial and industrial settings. It is also recommended for use with the Brightwell® High Flow ECOMIX COMPACT dispenser unit at a 128:1 dilution ratio.
Concentrated Formula — Economical to Store and Transport
The concentrated formulation reduces storage footprint and shipping weight compared to ready-to-use cleaners. Available in 4-oz, 1-gal, 5-gal, and 55-gal (special order) sizes, it scales appropriately for contractors managing single sites or large facility accounts.
Common Applications
Warehouses and Manufacturing Plants
DailyKlean handles the common soiling deposits found in industrial environments and is well-suited for large-area autoscrubber use on concrete warehouse floors.
Schools and Educational Facilities
Its zero-VOC, fragrance-free, low-toxicity profile makes it appropriate for occupied school buildings where minimizing chemical exposure is a priority.
Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities
The EPA Safer Choice recognition and absence of hazardous solvents support use in healthcare environments with strict cleaning product requirements.
Retail Stores
DailyKlean maintains concrete floor shine as part of a regular maintenance program, keeping polished or treated floors presentable in customer-facing retail spaces.
Restaurants and Food Service Areas
For food processing or food service areas, the product supports deep cleaning followed by a fresh water rinse, consistent with sanitation standards in those environments.
Daily Maintenance on Densified or Treated Concrete

Application Instructions
Preparation
- Sweep or vacuum to remove loose materials from the surface to be cleaned.
- Pre-clean oil spots or other deep stains with the appropriate PROSOCO® product prior to using DailyKlean.
- Confirm that surface and air temperatures are at or above 40°F (4°C). Cleaning effectiveness is reduced below 50°F (10°C).
- Always test a small area of each surface to confirm suitability, coverage rate, and desired results before beginning overall application. Use the same equipment, surface preparation, and application procedures planned for general use. Allow surface to dry thoroughly before inspection.
Dilution & Mixing
- Do not use dilutions stronger than 4 oz of cleaner concentrate to 1 gallon of fresh water. Always use the mildest effective dilution possible.
- Normal cleaning: dilute 1 oz of cleaner per 1 gallon of fresh water.
- Deep cleaning: dilute 2 oz of cleaner per 1 gallon of fresh water.
- For use with a Brightwell® High Flow ECOMIX COMPACT dispenser unit: set to Setting I for High Flow at a dilution ratio of 128:1 (1 oz/gallon / 8 mL/liter). When set properly, the chemical dilution dial will show the letter I at the top (12:00 position). Read and follow all instructions included with the dispenser unit.
- For spot cleaning heavily soiled areas, begin testing at a dilution of 2 oz of cleaner concentrate to 1 gallon of fresh water.
Application
- Apply with a mop or automatic scrubber. Use soft brushes or pads with auto scrubbers. Never use aggressive brushes or pads on polished concrete.
- After routine surface cleaning, rinsing is not necessary. Mop up spent cleaner and dissolved contaminants, or vacuum up with an auto scrubber.
- After deep cleaning, or when cleaning in food processing areas, rinse well with fresh water. Do not allow puddles or concentrated cleaner to dry on the surface.
Storage and Handling
- Store in a cool, dry place. Always seal container after dispensing.
- Do not alter or mix with other chemicals.
- Maintain storage temperatures of 45–100°F (7–38°C).
- Published shelf life assumes upright storage of factory-sealed containers in a dry place.
- Do not double stack pallets.
- Dispose of unused product and container in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
