Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

1. Verify that sheathing is dry, structurally sound, and free of protrusions, fastener heads, or debris that could compromise the WRB or drainage layer.
2. Install any required flashing at windows, doors, and penetrations prior to or in coordination with WRB installation per applicable Tamlyn flashing details.

Installation

1. Install TamlynWrap Drainable Wrap shingle fashion, starting at the base of the wall and working upward so that each successive course overlaps the one below.
2. Maintain a minimum 6-inch overlap at all horizontal and vertical seams.
3. At corners, provide a minimum 12-inch vertical overlap.
4. Secure the wrap using Tamlyn cap fasteners throughout — cap fasteners are required per installation guidelines and warranty terms.
5. Tape all vertical seams using Tamlyn XtremeSeam Tape (required for 25-year system warranty).
6. Apply XtremeFlashing Tape at all windows, doors, and penetrations. Use XtremeSealant or BrunnoSeal at all sealant joints.
