Hole cuts nicely, but difficult to start the hole. Tried dry drilling, but porcelain tile cracked. Tried again with water cooling in porcelain tile and made a nice hole. The problem with starting the hole is that the pilot bit retracted itself in both cases, even with very mild pressure from the drill press.
These bits work very well, we drill a lot of stone and concrete so I am hoping for a long life out of these. Thank you
The saw was very durable. I cut about 30+ holes in 1" thick stone and the saw has still has life left. If I had a complaint it would be that it's slow. Be nice to have a non continuous rim. It'd be fine for something thinner than I was cutting though. I actually used my grinder to cut the rim a bit and that seemed to help. Good tool, I'll buy again.
