Unlike standard SRLs that are prohibited from sharp edge use, the BEAST EDGE™ SRL411222 is purpose-built for leading edge applications where the lifeline may contact a structural edge during a fall event. The galvanized steel wire rope cable and steel rebar hook provide durability and compatibility in rebar-heavy environments that would compromise webbing-based alternatives.

                                        Key Features & Benefits

                                        Leading Edge Rated Cable

The 7/32" galvanized steel wire rope is rated for leading edge and sharp edge applications, making this SRL suitable for use where the lifeline may contact a structural edge during a fall. This is a critical distinction from standard SRLs, which are not approved for such conditions.

                                        Quick-Activating Speed-Sensing Brake System

The speed-sensing brake engages rapidly upon detecting a fall, limiting the arrest distance to a maximum of 42 inches. This minimizes fall distance and reduces shock loading to the worker's body.

                                        2-1/4" Steel Rebar Hook

The included steel rebar hook is designed for direct connection to rebar and structural cross members, eliminating the need for additional anchorage hardware in rebar-intensive work environments. The large throat opening is specifically designed for fixed structural elements.

                                        Compact Composite Housing

The black composite plastic housing is engineered to be extremely compact and lightweight, keeping the total unit weight under 6 lbs. This reduces fatigue during extended use and makes the unit easier to reposition on the job site.

                                        Stainless Steel and Corrosion-Resistant Components

Internal and external components are constructed from stainless steel and corrosion-resistant materials, extending service life in outdoor and harsh construction environments. The galvanized steel cable further resists corrosion from moisture and environmental exposure.

                                        Swivel Top Anchorage

The swivel eye anchorage allows the housing to rotate freely as the worker moves, reducing cable twist and tangling during normal work activity. This supports full freedom of movement across the 12-foot working radius.
