Application Instructions
Read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions before installation. Rubber gloves and proper eyewear are recommended. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING.
Test the grout joint for previously applied sealers by applying a few drops of water. If water beads, a sealer is present and must be removed before application. Conduct a small test area to ensure desired results, and allow a minimum of 2 hours cure time.
For new grout installations, allow at least 7 days curing time before staining. Apply thin, even coats using a bristle or sponge brush, and allow the stain to dry for 20-30 minutes. After drying, dampen the area with water and remove excess stain from the tile surface using a white nylon scrub pad.
For dark to light color changes, 2 or more coats may be necessary. Allow 2 hours drying time between coats. The surface is ready for traffic in 24 hours, but avoid direct scrubbing on grout joints for 21 days to ensure maximum durability.
Cleaning Tools
Clean applicator tools with water after each use. Dispose of empty bottles according to state and local regulations. Store unused portions in a cool, dry place.
