The Eddy Floor Scraper was one of the first tools developed and manufactured by Eddy 91 Inc. and has remained the company’s flagship product ever since.
Over time, Eddy 91 Inc. expanded its product line to include orbital sanders, pioneering the development of an orbital sander with an integrated vacuum system—an industry breakthrough at the time.
To better serve its U.S. customers, Eddy Floor Scraper Inc. was established in Hallandale, Florida, in 1999. In 2007, following a change in ownership, Eddy 91 Inc. relocated to Nicolet, Quebec. After years of research and development, the company introduced another innovative tool in 2012—the Eddy Tile Breaker—targeting the demolition sector, an untapped market at the time. This innovation helped transform Eddy into a dynamic, market-oriented global company, with the Eddy Tile Breaker now sold on four continents.
In 2018, following another change in ownership, the company was rebranded as Eddy Floor Tools. With an aggressive strategic direction, Eddy Floor Tools continues to expand globally while broadening its product line to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
